I built a steering fluid reservoir mount out of 1/4 inch ABS plastic and attached it to the intake using spacers and 6mm bolts. I placed the auxiliary battery in place of the steering fluid reservoir utilizing a combination of plastic and rubber spacers in the existing 6mm threaded holes (and drilled an additional hole). I drilled/enlarged some holes and ran 10mm hex bolts into some threaded sleeves for the starter battery. Instead I ordered two single universal trays, one with the selenoid, and two new Group 34 Odyssey batteries. Even then it didn't seem I could confidently clear the hood. I measured and measured, but couldn't really run a dual battery tray on the driver side without needing to move the fuse box and new master cylinder/plumbing I had installed for a four wheel disc conversion. After my wife took the truck to the grocery store while on vacation and the motor wouldn't turn over it was finally time, along with giving me a perfect excuse to install two new batteries.
